Climbing up into the ladder he swung his leg over the railing of the ship and landed on the deck with a soft thud before he turned to help her up. Grabbing her hand he gently pulled her safely next to him on the ship. “Glad to hear that you are excited for this adventure.” He said looking down at her smiling. Turning around to face his crew he nodded his head at Gibbs as he walked towards them. “This I can assure you is better then Christmas.” He said as he was only inches away from Gibbs.
“This is me right hand man Mr. Gibbs.” He said before stepping aside so she could walk down the line and meet everyone. He couldn’t help but notice Gibbs smiling at him after he introduced them but Jack just shook his head and walked down the line with her.
(sorry for such a late reply)
“Well, you’ll have to make the trip memorable as one of my favorite memories are of one Christmas when I was a child.” She grinned up at him, sidling next to his side. She dipped a short curtsy and smiled, “A pleasure, Mr. Gibbs.” She met the rest of his crew, trying to keep an open mind about some of their states of dress. She was glad she had gone shopping with Amora for ship appropriate clothing. ”Where are we going to first?”
“I will try my best.” He smirked being honest with her. He never really celebrated any holidays and as far as he knew neither did any of his other crew members, they were always busy plundering and never really visited anywhere else besides Tortuga to really celebrate holidays. As they finished meeting the crew he leaned back against the place Elizabeth had once handcuffed him and crossed his arms over his chest and his right leg over his left looking at her bright blue eyes. “Perhaps Tortuga, but that depends on how you feel about meeting other pirates.” He said a little curious.
“Well, the only way I’ll know is by doing so first. Meeting people is like trying new food. You won’t know if you like it until you try it, oui?” She smiled. ”Where might I put my bag?” She asked, raising it a bit. ”I don’t think it best to hold onto it the entire trip, it would make learning about the ship that much harder.”
He held up his hand and slightly opened up his mouth to speak but couldn’t think of what to say so he just lowered his hand and smirked. Noticing Gibbs was standing near them he called him over. “Mr. Gibbs will show you to your room love.” He said smiling at her and Mr. Gibbs. As soon as they started walking away Jack shouted “Learning about the ship is half the adventure.” Smiling and looking at the rest of his crew he stepped up a few stairs towards the Captains quarters and stood with his hands resting on the railing facing the sea waiting for her to return.
